Matt Dolphin is a visual artist, musician, qualified art therapist (University of Hertfordshire) and teacher of adults. He teaches creative arts courses at Lambeth College (for people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities), and practices art therapy at Nash College of Special Education. Dolphin is also a member of the British Association of Art Therapists’ special interest group for practitioners working with people with autism.

Matt’s artistic practice reflects his interest in the relationship between creative expression and emotional health. His work can be seen as an attempt at rehabilitating fugitive, shadowy parts of the psyche; there is also a sense of the dramatic, echoing Matt’s parallel vocation as a songwriter and performer.

Matt has exhibited at University of Hertfordshire; Flapjacks Café, Kentish Town; Abney Public Hall, Stoke Newington and Sutton House, Hackney.
